Visit: The Bay Area’s first-ever Bunny Cafe
The Bay Area’s first ever Bunny Cafe will open on 1327 Columbus Ave, San Francisco, on Dec. 21. While playing with these furry bundles of joy, you can indulge in grab n’ go locally supplied coffee, fruits and vegetables, pastries, and instant ramen. Their bunnies are also adoptable with a 150$ fee and a free starter pack after passing an interview stage. A share of all proceeds will be donated to local bunny rescue organizations along with other charities.

Bake: Ina Garten’s brownie pudding
This gooey, rich, addicting dish has taken the internet by storm—and for good reason. The perfect marriage between a pudding and brownie, Ina Garten’s viral dessert is a must-try for bakers and chocolate lovers. While it’s often described as an undercooked brownie, her creation is more than you could ever imagine. From the crusted shell, to its molten center and topped with ice cream, this brownie pudding is worth every second of its 60 minute bake time.

Explore: Filoli Gardens
If you’re looking for a festive yet quiet activity to spend this holiday season, look no further than Filoli Gardens. The iconic Woodside landmark offers breathtaking views and, for a limited time, enchanting gardens full of holiday cheer. Open until Jan. 11, visitors can immerse themselves in three mesmerizing experiences: the Thystlewyck village, Gilded winter garden tour, and their colorful Holiday Lights exhibition during the Night Garden.

Do: Clean out your closet
To start off the new year on a fresh start, clean out your closet’s clutter! If you’re guilty of hoarding clothes you no longer use (I know I am), consider giving them a second life for people who can’t afford them otherwise; people are especially in need of new clothes during the cold holiday season. Instead of donating to large chains like Goodwill, look for transparent local charities that directly impact your community—like St. Anthony’s in San Francisco.
